  Two years ago my husband of 54 years and I made the best decision ever. We planned and prepaid our funerals at DeJohn Funeral Home here in Chardon. We did this to save our sons the stress at the time of our passing.
  
  July 13th my husband Charles A. Giza, a 30 year World War II and Korean Conflict Veteran died. The visitation, flowers, life video, and burial was done with extreme reverence and care by the DeJohn family. Their helpfulness, kindness, and sympathy far surpassed my expectations. They planned a funeral mass held at St. Mary's Church, which was a beautiful heart rendering service. Afterwards the
  Air Force and Veterans Military burial at the cemetery site was something my husband
  would have been immensely proud of.
  
  Thank you DeJohn Funeral Home for all the carrying and emotional help, before, during,
  and after this time of our loss.

  It is never easy losing a loved one, be it family, friend, or pet. In our case it was Willie, our 13 year old dog. It was with great sadness that we had to have him put down but Sherrie, along with all those other wonderful and kind people associated with DeJohn's did, indeed, make his passing much easier.
  
  All of our dealings with the DeJohn’s folks were beyond reproach. They were truly kind and considerate and timely in their duties and promises. We are thankful that Sherrie and DeJohn’s were there amidst the loss of our pet.
